This smoothie recipe came out one of the deepest shades of green, but that didn’t affect how sweet and delicious it was!
A few edits I would make after making this once:
- Add another cup of water to make it smoother
- Add a few cubes of ice to make it cool (or substitute a frozen fruit)
- Don’t add the greens to the blender first – it will blend better if you put your fruits first.
Also note: If you don’t have a Vitamix (or a really powerful blender), I would probably take the stems off the kale before blending. In a regular blender the stems won’t get fully blended, if you don’t mind a few chunks – leave them on.
